The Customer Wait Time Forecaster is an Android app. that displays the service and wait time for the Southwest Airlines and other non-airline processes at the nearest airport for which forecasts are available. The forecast wait times are shown for every 30 minutes up to a three hours in to the future. The forecasts are updated on the five minute mark. The processes being forecast are identified by an international icon or a enterprise logo.
The main view of the forecaster shows processing points in the first column. Each of the remaining column show the forecast wait times from Now to 3 hours from Now at 30 minute increments.
The forecast is for the airport indicated by the IATA code in the upper left hand corner.
Click on the airport IATA code button to get a list of airports with wait time forecasts to select from.
If you select 'Auto', the forecast for the nearest airport will be displayed.
Touch any of the icons and a detailed plot of the wait times over the next 3 hours will be displayed.
If a detailed wait time plot is presently displayed, touching an icon returns the table wait time forecast display.
The detailed plot shows the forecast wait times at a higher frequency than every 30 minutes over the next 3 hours so that valleys and peaks can be seen.
Use this icon to sum up the wait times of other process wait times. Touch this icon first, then touch each of the other icons' wait times you wish to add up, then touch the sigma icon last.
Red virtual LED indicators no Internet connection.
Amber virtual LED indicators a geo-location service connection, but no forecast service connection.
Green virtual LED indicators all services connected.

Automatically Collected Information
You are able to withdraw your permission for the Application to acquire pinpointed location information from your device through your device settings, although Southwest does not control this process.
If the device is more than a mile from an airport no pinpointed location information is collected.
The Application collects and uses the information about your device collected through the Application, to: (a) determine the nearest airport and provide the Customer Wait Time Forecast for processing points within the airport, (b) generate movement and transit time information in and around areas of interest in the airport, and (c) improve the wait time forecast.
If you do not want us to use your device location for the purposes set forth above, you should not download the Application.
You may at any time opt-out from further allowing the Application's access to your location data by disabling location tracking features as provided in your native device settings features.
You may opt-out of all information collection by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall, application and data management processes available as part of your mobile device or via the removal features provided in your chosen mobile app store or network.
We may disclose information collected through the Application: (a) to SkyHook Wireless as described above; (b) as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process; (c) when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request; and (d) with our trusted services providers who work on our behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.
In addition, if Southwest is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our Web site of any change in ownership or uses of this information, as well as any choices you may have regarding this information.
The Application will store device-level data for a reasonable period of time following collection.

The Application is an Android app. that displays the service and wait time for the Southwest Airlines and other non-airline processes at the nearest or selected airport for which forecasts are available.
3. DATA PROTECTION
To the extent the Application allows you to access certain functionality available on the Southwest.com website. Such access will be governed by the Southwest.com Terms & Conditions.
5. PROPRIETARY RIGHTS AND LICENCE
5.1. All trademarks, copyright, database rights and other intellectual property rights of any nature in the Application together with the underlying software code are owned either directly by Southwest or by Southwest's licensors.
5.2. Southwest hereby grants you a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free revocable license to use the Application for your business and personal use in accordance with these Terms.
6. CONDITIONS OF USE
6.1. You will not, nor allow third parties on your behalf to (i) make and distribute copies of the Application (ii) attempt to copy, reproduce, alter, modify, reverse engineer, disassemble, decompile, transfer, exchange or translate the Application; or (iii) create derivative works of the Application of any kind whatsoever.
6.2. The Application is currently made available to you free of charge for your personal, non-commercial use. Southwest reserves the right to amend or withdraw the Application, or charge for the application or service provided to you in accordance with these Terms, at any time and for any reason.
6.3. You acknowledge that the terms of agreement with your respective mobile network provider ('Mobile Provider') will continue to apply when using the Application. As a result, you may be charged by the Mobile Provider for access to network connection services for the duration of the connection while accessing the Application or any such third party charges as may arise. You accept responsibility for any such charges that arise.
6.4. If you are not the bill payer for the mobile telephone or handheld device being used to access the Application, you will be assumed to have received permission from the bill payer for using the Application.
7.1. This Application is available to handheld mobile devices running Android OS (Operating System) only. You acknowledge the Application is provided over the internet and mobile networks and so the quality and availability of the Application may be affected by factors outside Southwest' s reasonable control.
7.2. Southwest, its group of companies and sub-contractors do not accept any responsibility whatsoever for unavailability of the Application, or any difficulty or inability to download or access content or any other communication system failure which may result in the Application being unavailable.
7.3. Southwest will not be responsible for any support or maintenance for the Application.
8. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
8.1. In order to use the Application, you are required to have a compatible mobile telephone or handheld device, internet access, and the necessary minimum specifications ('Software Requirements').
8.2. The Software Requirements are as follows: Android OS devices running Android OS 4.2.x up to OS 4.4; Language: English
8.3. The version of the Application software may be upgraded from time to time to add support for new functions and services.
9.1. Southwest may terminate use of the Application at any time by giving notice of termination to you.
9.2. Upon any termination, (a) the rights and licenses granted to you herein shall terminate; (b) you must cease all use of the Application;
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
10.1. In no event will Southwest be liable for any direct, indirect, special, punitive, exemplary or consequential losses or damages of whatsoever kind arising out of your use or access to the Application, including loss of profit or the like whether or not in the contemplation of the parties, whether based on breach of contract, tort (including negligence), product liability or otherwise.
10.2. Southwest is not liable to you for any damage or alteration to your equipment including but not limited to computer equipment, handheld device or mobile telephones as a result of the installation or use of the Application.
10.3. Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit Southwest's liability for death or personal injury caused by gross negligence or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
11. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
To the maximum extent permitted by law, and for the avoidance of doubt, Southwest hereby disclaims all implied warranties with regard to the Application. The Application and software are provided “ as is” and “ as available” without warranty of any kind.
